who am i?

My photo
A girl who looks innocent on the outside but truly fiery inside. One who loves procrastinating, fell in love with lobsters dipped in melt butter, spaghetti with extra cheese, and not to forget crab accompanied with chilli shrimps. Her most fond weaknesses: a forgetful nature and a hopeless directions-giver even in places she's supposed to be familiar with.

Sleeping at 6 in the morning..half awake

Legion generated all kinds of responses from the audience. When God loses faith in his creation:humankind, he sends a legion of angels to destroy the world and wipe out humankind.THat's the catchline that kept me interested to watch this movie. It;s really not that hard to believe that God might lose faith in us or that the world is coming to an end. But what made me startled was the few facts that the angels that were supposed to protect and guide us are the ones that are going to destroy us, and an old kindly looking Granny suddenly bit a guy's neck to half.
Our friendship tokens:)
75% of my effort to prepare for my exams is done. Mechanics, my greatest fear, Statistics and Accounting paper(my absolute paranoia subject) the one that makes me sweat on the palms... all three of them are over, FINALLY. Accounting was the greatest disappointment to me. At least i worked so hard yet, i couldn't even answer one of the questions. sigh.. Especially when we walked out of the exam hall when everyone else is discussing about the questions, that includes me, saddens me even more. The last battle against economics unit 3 is yet to be fought. Cross my fingers that I'll do well in this one.
Then,"Sleepover at my place, people!" a text message from Gesh made me smile:) and off we went to her house for an all girl's slumber party. Dinner at the mamak stall made me realise one thing. of the five of us, only gesh has her driving license. Way to go girl! you're our hero. (her parking skills are a bit.. hm..)
the always hyper gesh, the sneaky vanessa, dreamy yet intelligent yee voon, me and the absolutely bubbly anith:)
We played a Truth or Dare game to lighten our hearts and also reveal our deeper secrets. hm..At least, this won't go anywhere outside our group. After all the teasings from Vanessa all these times, hehe i certainly made her pay back hahaha.. by some dares i challenged her to do,including calling some despo guy. Let's hope he won;t bug her for the rest of her life. Through this, we've got to learn that some of us aren't even as innocent as we thought after all:P tsk tsk...

3. learn how to cook some meat dishes^ ^

Hehe..this is my first attempt guys:

After seasoning the chicken with some wine and dong guai with soya sauce, and waiting for hours before steaming it. Impatiently waiting...

The miserable twin crab dish we ordered that costed us RM30... when my mom could have just buy 4 BIGGER crabs and cooked it better with just RM12 gone.

ISSUE OF USING 'ALLAH' IN NON-MUSLIM PUBLICATIONS MUST BE HANDLED WISELY - SHAHRIZAT
Bernama - Saturday, January 2
KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 1 (Bernama) -- The issue of non-Muslims using the word 'Allah' must be handled with utmost care by all parties involved said Datuk Seri Shahrizat Abdul Jalil.

"Actually, non-Muslims in the country accept the fact that the word 'Allah' belongs to Muslims. I am concerned that the issue can 'explode' if not handled wisely and with utmost care.

LOL..I never knew issues could explode..hahaa.. And says who the non-muslims in the country have accepted that fact?? if they have, why a court case??

"In a country like Malaysia, culture, tradition, convention and ethics, apart from the law, play a critical role in ensuring harmony among the races," she said in a statement here today.
Shahrizat who is also the Umno Wanita Chief said the wing would always monitor the situation of the case and would wait for the appeal.

Then maybe some politicians should do their part as malaysians, specifically as politicians to fight for matters of the country not turning matters of religion into a political issue?? Am i right, people??
Yesterday, the High Court ruled that the Catholic weekly, The Herald, can use the word 'Allah' in its articles to propagate Christianity among its followers.
Judge Datuk Lau Bee Lian had ruled that usage of the word was constitutional as long as the periodical was confined to educate the followers of the Christian faith.
-- BERNAMA

Personally, if they can come up with a good reasonable reason why "allah" should only be used by the Muslim, I'll accept them too. I meant absolutely no insult to the Islam God.

Auld lang syne 2009, and Aloha 2010:>

Sorry i've been a bit slow in updating my blog. Reason: having a sweet vacation with my other half:P i wish...^ ^Happy New Year Peeps! Thought of your new year's resolutions yet?? Some might aim for not falling in love with anyone this year, just like how I did last year, but alas! I failed keeping to that resolution. Why? cuz that's absolutely impossible. Feelings and matters of the heart can't go according to what our mind wants us to feel. If u get me..
Aloha Penang:>
Our trip to Penang was more of a road trip filled with good food and loads more of food. What can I say?? Penang is known for its good food and maybe it's temples. Maybe i should just let the pictures talk for themselves as they say pictures speak a thousand words, much more valuable than mine:P
My bro, my cousins and I
One big happy family:> Actually it's two

Christmas, Christmas where are you??

Will Santa creep into my room and leave me my presents today? how i wish it would really happen. I'll even consider that a miracle^ ^

It's christmas eve and i've not even got the jolly mood for christmas yet.. sigh.. How i wish to be a little girl again, where i'll receive presents from my relatives and friends. How does Jesus looks when he was wrapped in a tiny bundle in a manger?? still smiling with that innocent glow in his face?? I'm starting to wonder, right at that moment did he know the purpose why he was sent to this world?? awwww!! so cute!! Maybe i should make a wish that I'll be able to do a plastic surgery and change my face into that of a baby. So adorable that i feel like hugging him in my arms and protect him.

A few days ago, i went out with someone i used to like without any expectations in mind. After meeting him for another movie date, i feel so jumpy, excited and all smiling. What is wrong with me?? Are those feelings making a comeback?? The fact that he still kept the movie tickets we first went out made me so touched. will he always surprise me that way? I feel so clueless. I'm so darn confuse about my feelings. I hate to admit this, you still have that effect on me. *helpless*

Avatar is a great movie. Lo and behold, a science fiction that attracts me in it's own ways. i didn't really expect any romance to appear in it. Yee Voon, sorry i said that to you:> it's a nice movie by the way..just a little long winded.

Words Uttered Out of a SIncere Heart Touches The Soul

"have you guys prayed while i've been away, folks??"asked the priest
"I have prayed for months for food since christmas is just around the corner while i have so many hungry children to feed. And then a miracle happened, God sent you guys to come with a truckload of rice for us. I'm so very thankful." Mak Ros-the leader of the Aborigines family of Batu tiga. Sincerely that really touched our hearts for us city people to travel so far from KL to Kuantan just to give them a short visit. The smiles on their faces were more than enough for us i guess:> Although the christmas songs we've presented to them weren't truly practiced well, p.s: our bad!(we even forgot the lyrics at one end), they helped us to fill in the blanks. In the end, it is not the long journey that matters, but the smiles we've lighted up on their lives that count.

It was certainly a queer sight for me as i noticed there are only women in the household. Where are the men?? Then i learnt, these folks' husbands, the breadwinners are away working overseas like in Singapore, Thailand and so on. As we all know when guys have success and riches, some would result in having affairs and even mistresses. When these happen, the wives at home are left abandoned without anyone to take care of their welfare.

There was once this husband who left for a logging company in Thailand. Needless to say what our fair neighbours are famous with, yes u guessed it!- prostitutes(in better words, service providers) He had a one night stand with a hooker and alas! He contracted AIDS from her. It's even sadder to hear that his one mistake has costed two innocent babies of his to contract this scary disease too. BABIES!!! Can you feel my outrage?? They're so innocent, why should they be punished by their father's mistake??

And then all of us RYM youth members went for our dinner, at 10:( sad empty stomachs
shall upload the pictures soon when the cameramen have uploaded theirs.

The first minute i stepped into their sights, wow!! CARRRRYYYYNNN!! That high pitched voice, easily distinguished amongst others screaming for me..hui chi..Miss you all so much!!lol..I wonder whether i was that popular in my class before this. Mind you, it's in Wong Kok Chan Teng...and everyone was eating happily until the screams started...OMG..my presence turned heads..this is bad:(

Besties forever!! hm..too bad this pic lacked Geshie and Anith..

Absolutely miss u guys: pui kei, Pei san, Jia woon and Chen li..they never could fail from making me burst into laughter. Pei San provided us with daily scoops of gossips from our past classmates' love life. It's absolutely hilarious and wonderful how some people can change dramatically once they have a boyfriend, especially Wai yen. I do admire my lil' friend's courage, i guess i'll never dare to go up to a random hunk at an LRT station and ask for his number.
